Planting and Care
Redcurrants thrive in full sun and tolerate partial shade. Allow at least 1m x 1m for each plant to grow into, preferably more. When planting, ensure that the roots are well spread out - don’t curl or squash them into the planting hole. After planting, water well, especially in a dry spring.
You may need to protect your crop from the birds with netting or a fruit cage.
